Maflin aims at top 32 return

Former World Amateur champion Kurt Maflin opened up to best friend and howeveryoulikebreak.com reporter Curtis Braithwaite about his upcoming plans and motivation going into the new season starting in June.

Kurt said ” finally i feel settled with sponsorship from howeveryoulikebreak.com and with You, My Wife, My Sister, Geraldine and My Dad who is my coach around me i have a fantastic team to help me push on and fulfil my potential as I’m really motivated to get myself back into the top 32, Oops i also forgot to thank my lovely mum for her support and great home cooking when i’m in the UK.

If I’m brutally honest with myself i have to admit that over the year’s i had neglected my game and not worked anywhere near as hard as i should have but now that I’m in a much happier place with the right team around me i feel like it’s my time to shine, I know I’ve got the game to win a tournament it’s now just about applying myself in practice to ensure that i turn up to tournaments sharp and ready to perform”.

Kurt showed in patches last season what a fine player he is with some eye catching performances and with a bit of luck at certain stages of matches his season could have been very different.

Kurt is undoubtedly one of the best player’s not to yet win a ranking event and with his new found motivation and mindset the 2019/20 season will be a big one for his future.
